About

Echo Shell is a directory of independent artists and musicians. It doesn't host any work itself. Each profile links to the artist's own website and to the other places they publish, such as Bandcamp, SoundCloud or an online portfolio.

Many artists are moving away from Instagram and other social platforms. That leaves their work spread across personal websites, Bandcamp pages and portfolios that are hard to find. Echo Shell gives those pages a place to be found, without a feed or an algorithm in between.

You can search the directory by name, location, discipline or genre. Results are listed alphabetically.

Echo Shell is run by Leo Wolf, a sound artist and engineer based in Charlotte.
